The Main Function:

Tightness Test : It can test the tightness and leakage of the tested pipeline under system pressure.
Intake System Test: it can test the air tightness and damage degree of the pipes in the intake system.
Exhaust System Test: it can test the air tightness and damage degree of the pipes in the exhaust system.
EVAP System Test: it can test the leakage of fuel evaporation in the EVAP system.

Simple To Operate

The Smoke Automotive Leak Locator is easily controlled with a timer setting and flow control. Set the timer then the machine will generate smoke, and control the flow with the flow controller.
The output is regulated to 12~14 Inches of Water Column, this pressure is perfect to perform leak test of EVAP system and other automotive systems with no damage to the vehicle sealing.

In most cases, a scan tool may find out pressure sensors abnormal etc., while actully the 'pressure low' problem is caused by leak somewhere.

Notes:

* Please do leak detection away from smoke-sensitive parts.

* Do not run the detector over 8 minutes. It needs interval rest.

* The detector has protector. If it exceeds working limit, it will power off automatically. In this condition, please operate it later.

* The round parts of this detector is with temperature, be careful to avoid scalding injury.

Maintenance:

With long time high temperature, the smoke and oil will oxidize and deteriorate.

It will infect the service life of smoke generated part, so please change smoke and oil regularly.

1. Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the remaining oil in the detector.


2. When the smoke output has water drops, please replace with fresh oil.


3. Liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK.(Liquid is not included in the package)


Please fill fresh oil with equipped oil bottle.
